Parks & Gardens in Kiev(Kyiv)

You are never too far away from colourful flowers or the shade of a chestnut tree (the symbol of Kiev) in the many parks and Gardens. The first park in Kiev (Kyiv) was built in 1631, and subsequent parks were built all along the right bank of the Dnieper river. The main Parks in the centre of Kiev are Mariins’kyi Park, Volodymyr’s Hill, Khreschatyk Park, Pechersk, Kiev Fashion Park, Taras Shevchenko Park and Park of Eternal Glory. Kiev (Kyiv) also has some fantastic botanical gardens and pearls of green Islands in the centre of the river Dneiper.
