Kiev (Kyiv) Airport Ukraine
There are two main Airports in Kiev (Kyiv) - Boryspil (KBP) and Zhuliany (IEV). Most International flights operate to and from Boryspil International Airport which is located 29 km south-east of Kiev and 6 km south-west of Boryspil city centre. Boryspil Airport is the main gateway into Ukraine but a smaller newer Airport "Zhuliany International Airport Kyiv" has been built to provide another convenient entry point into Kiev and Ukraine.

Boryspil Airport (KBP) is Ukraine's largest and busiest Airport. More than 60 national and foreign airlines operate flights to the Airport on more than 120 routes worldwide.
In 2019, Boryspil International Airport was ranked third in the Best Eastern European Airports 2019 rating, conducted by the British Skytrax consulting company.

Connecting Boryspil International Airport (KBP) and Central Kiev (Kyiv) main Railway Station
Please note; both Airport Express train and Skybus bring you to Kiev (Kyiv) main railway station, not to the city centre. The train journey takes about 38 minutes with more trains running at peak times. The cost of the trip is 80 UAH (around 4 euro). You can also travel by Skybus Kiev which operates a bus from Kiev Pivdennyi station to Kiev Boryspil International Airport every 20 minutes.
At the station tickets can be bought at the exit to the platform at platform 14, there are two terminals installed that accept payment by cards.

To and From Boryspil International Airport Kyiv
Leaving Boryspil airport by Taxi: You will find no shortage of private taxi drivers offering you their services. Top end price for an official taxi to centre of Kiev (Kyiv) should be about 800 UAH (27.00 EUR/30.00 USD/21:00 GBP). These can be pre-booked on line or requested from the Taxi kiosk in the arrivals lounge. A private taxi is much cheaper but many vehicles are old and uncomfortable. Be prepared to haggle, you shouldn't be paying more than 500 UAH.
Leaving Boryspil airport by Bus:
For 50 UAH you can take a Sky Bus from directly outside of Boryspil airport. They are situated outside terminals B, D and F. The Sky Bus route will take you via Kharkivska metro station to the south of Kyiv’s main railway station. Tickets can be purchased directly from the driver. SkyBus website
To and From Zhuliany International Airport Kyiv
At arrivals in Kiev you will be accosted by a multitude of private taxi drivers. You can either haggle for a good price and take your chances on vehicle condition, or pay more and go for the safer option of a regular licensed taxi. Go to the "Taxi information Kiosk" in the arrivals lounge to hire a regular taxi.
A Public transport stop is situated 200 metres from terminal A, D and 50 metres from terminal B. Walk out of the terminal and go straight across the car park past the airplane on the left. You will see a bus Shelter in front of you. Take Trolley Bus No. 9. It will take you into the centre of Kiev and costs just 8 UAH as of January 2022. Public transport runs from 06:30 till 22:30.
Use the Luggage wrap facilities at Kiev airports. It is an inexpensive convenient way to secure your luggage.
