The best time to visit Kiev is dependent on what you like. If you like the drama of heavy snow, skiing in the Carpathian mountains or Christmas markets then December through to February would be a good time to visit. But if you prefer hot summer sunshine, beach clubs and al fresco dining then the months of June through to August would be best for you. The spring months from March to May are comfortable and have average temperatures between 5.1°C (41.2°F) and 14°C (57.2°F). Kiev is one of the greenest city's in Europe so spring would be an excellent time to visit if you enjoy parks and flowers.
